I have been investigating 3d libraries written in javascript, google brings up 3 that seem to be pretty mature:

• three.js
• Copperlicht
• Canvas3d

I’m really impressed with Copperlicht, their quake scenes are rendered really nicely and the movement is surprisingly clean. Three.js is also pretty sweet, I was able to get nice spinning cube on my homepage up with minimal effort.
